Applies for voluntary retirement, likely to contest upcoming assembly elections

Srinagar, February 20 (KNO) : After top unionist leader Abdul Qayoom Wani, a top administrator, Farooq Ahmad Shah has applied for voluntary retirement from government services. The information department also tweeted the development this morning. "Secretary PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control and DMRRR, Farooq Ahmad Shah has applied for voluntary retirement from service," DIPR tweeted. Shah who has served at many top chairs would likely be joining the regional political party, NC soon. Sources said that Shah will also contest upcoming assembly elections from Tangmarg assembly constituency.(KNO)
